We decided to turn our back porch into a playroom for Jack. We added the foam mat floor to help protect him when he tumbles. Add to that a little table given to us by friends and the room starts to look like a fun place to hang out. He has a few toys out there now and that will increase as the weather cools down this Fall. Jack has learned how to crawl in and out of the room with the help of some towel cushions. He has also started to crawl to the french doors and pat his hand on the door if he wants to go out there.
