Water Park in Alachua

We have gotten into the habit of visiting a delightful water park at the city recreation center in Alachua. Jack enjoys running around as he visits the many variations of water shooting out of the ground. Today he was brave enough to walk through the tunnel that has the strongest stream of water shooting out of it. He covered his eyes and slowly walked through it several times. A bunch of the kids bring buckets or cups to fill up. Jack likes to drink the water, but usually most of it ends up just splashing down his front.

Apple Boy

Jack has really gotten into eating apples. At first he would eat an entire apple, especially if momma let them get a little bit soft first. Now we have simplified the process by buying pre-sliced red apples. Jack just goes to the fridge, says "ap-plllle" and we give him a few slices.

Playing at Maddy's Party

Maddy had a huge party to finally celebrate her 2nd birthday. Since it was so close to Easter, there was an egg hunt too! Jack really enjoyed playing on Maddy's playground. Finally tall enough to get on this by himself and push around the yard.

Jack was so tickled when he figured out how to get in this structure.

Hey baby, wanna take a ride on my bike?

Easter Egg Hunt

We only had to show Jack what he was supposed to do two times before he was all over the place collecting his eggs.
Jack started to go down the trail where the big kids had their egg hunt.

Such a pro!

Yes, I think I took a picture of every egg he picked up!
