Here is Tommy giving us a better view at his adorableness. It seems he always has his mouth open. I named this shot, "What do you mean I'm only 3 weeks old? I'm bigger than a 3 month old!"
One of his favorite activities is sticking his tongue out. This is cute, by far the cutest shot yet!
Getting some tummy time to practice holding his head up. Not really interested in getting his head up today though, I think he was busy looking at the bright sunshine coming in through the window.
Jack being a goofball by sleeping in his toybox. Hard to believe he can fit in there, I'm sure in a few more months he won't fit at all.

Moustache
Jack moustache you a question! Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
He is very curious and wants to know the "why" about everything!

I'm Outnumbered!
With the total number of boys in the house reaching 3 with the arrival of Tommy, I am realizing I am definitely outnumbered with so many boys! Here they are enjoying some Saturday morning cartoons.
Boy vs. Green Dog
As we attempt to keep Tommy awake for a few hours before bed time we resort to anything to keep him entertained. He is doing really well at tracking items and interacting with them. Tommy managed to hit the dog tonight, causing it to fall onto his face.

Busy Boy
Thomas was born with so much hair! He already needs a haircut. For his first bath I just washed his hair since his umbilical cord had not fallen off yet. He didn't protest too badly but was definitely glad to be wrapped back up in his warm towel when we were done. His hair was so fluffy when it dried out.
Thomas gets a daily workout on his play mat. The jungle theme has toucans, butterflies, giraffes, and wild cats to keep him busy. Big brother Jack enjoys helping his little brother know how to use everything and keeps the music playing.

Thomas Henry Flavin
With much thanks to my OB's office, I was allowed to induce labor 3 days early to welcome our little guy into the world. We checked into the hospital at 8:00 am and were quickly greeted, sent to our room, and began preparations to get the party started.
I progressed slowly, gaining only 2 cm the first 4 hours there. Upon having my water broken by the doctor, things took off at lightning speed from there! For some reason my body reacts to an epidural like an invitation to speed labor. After receiving another tense epidural my body shot through 5 more cm in 15-20 minutes and delivery was going to happen whether the doctor was ready or not. Thankfully they scrambled efficiently and were able to deliver Thomas in about 10 pushes.
He appeared big and this was confirmed upon getting his weight, 10 pounds 6 ounces! Everyone in the room was amazed at how well the delivery went, including me.
He is an amazing little guy and doing very well at home. He is delighting us with littles smiles and squeaks.
Jack is taking this very well and is eager to show his little brother all of his toys.

Springtime, So Much To Do!
Number 1 priority is to always have some fun on the weekends. Jack chose a splash pool for this summer's water fun. He has a blast sliding around and splashing in the water.
Jack's new room is our old guest room. During Spring Break Kevin and I moved furniture, painted walls, and moved toys to have this be Jack's new "office" as he likes to call it. He especially loves the new big bed.
A better picture of the pool. The hippo head is a slide and the palm trees spray water up to make him go even faster on the slide. I foresee lots of hours spent in this pool this summer.
