Horse Farm

Jolene loves to hold hands with Jack! They chased each other all over the park, taking turns giving carrots to the horses. It was a beautiful day!
These horses knew the drill, they were very eager to grab the carrots from us. We were a little worried we might lose a finger or two with some of these horses. The ticket price to get in is to bring food for the horses. Next time we will bring a lot more carrots and apples.

Jack gives gentle pets to a miniature horse.

Julie and Barry show the kids how to feed the horse a carrot. The farm hosts over 100 retired horses. A lot of them were blind or really old.

Jack tried to feed this one but it dropped the carrot on the ground. No worries, it quickly found it on the ground and gobbled it up.
The blue hue is thanks to Jack adjusting the features on our camera.
