Smiling Jack updates
Sorry, no photos to prove what I am about to tell you, but trust me, our little man has got skills!
Skill number one is crawling. He started a little over a week ago and now waddles his way over to whatever is a no-no for him to touch. He is really helping us baby-proof the house. Today I realized the cat toys need to move and well as Kevin's car magazines. I look forward to when he chases the cats out of the room by crawling after them. They are in for quite a surprise.
Skill number two is pulling up. He delights in pulling up by the couch, the bed in his room, and anywhere else that is about that height. He gets so proud and wiggles a little when he gets all the way up. When he does fall down he does a great job of landing on his hind quarters and not falling to where he hits his head. He often will immediately try to stand up again. Our little man has determination!
Skill number three is not quite a skill, yet it is still very cool. He currently has 4 teeth cutting their way through his gums. Sounds painful but he is quite the trooper. Jack resembles a vampire right now as his incisors are much more pronounced than his middle teeth.

Jack and Maddy
Jack's most recent visit to Maddy's house had him playing on her airplane scooter. Turn your volume up because you don't want to miss his laugh. Maddy shows him the fun of stopping the propeller.

Playtime at Maddy's House
Pool Time
Aunt Gail gave Jack this adorable Speedo bathing suit when he was first born. It is a little small on him, especially when he sits down the suit seems to disappear. The water was a bit too cool and he quickly decided he was done with pool time. Next time we'll make sure the water is just right. Thanks to Chuck, Dee, and Madison for our cool pool.
Showing Off My Teeth
Playing peek-a-boo with Daddy made for the perfect opportunity to have a look at Jack's first two teeth. His bottom two teeth popped up around 2 months ago. He is showing signs of getting more teeth but we haven't seen them yet. He really likes to chew on things and gives his teething ring a workout each time he needs it.
